Winners of the "Click a Million" Contest Drawn

Telenor rewarded the most creative work with RSD1 million, and ten most interesting works with an Internet modem
September 17, 2008 – The award of RSD1 million, the main prize in Telenor’s ”Click a Million” contest, has been won by Vlado Trtić from Kikinda, the author of a video-clip titled “Super Net”.
As many as around 6,000 video clips, photos and drawings were submitted to the 45-day contest, and ten of them were short-listed. In addition to the main prize, Telenor has rewarded authors of ten most interesting works with Internet modems.

The contest task was to design an original solution for the Telenor Internet campaign from the international Internet symbol – a hand with the point finger held up - to be used as a symbol of this service provided by Telenor. The contest participants could submit an unlimited volume of works.

“A Golden Minute is mentioned in one of your commercials. A Golden Minute is a moment when you realise that everything was worth an effort. I have been into cartoons for more than ten years, and the award at this contest is the first one for all the efforts so far. Thank you for it,” said Vlado Trtić.

The winner has been selected by the jury comprising Dina Janevski on behalf of “Leo Burnett” creative agency, and Maja Nibl and Goran Stupar on behalf of Telenor, on August 20-21. “The winning work is cheerful, positive and optimistic, in accordance with Telenor values. Compared to other works, including some with a similar background, the winning work is visually original and interesting, and with the most spirit,” says Maja Nibl, the Marketing Director of Telenor and the president of the jury.
The “Click a Million” contest is part of the promotion of the Telenor Internet, which is simple, favourable and much faster than dial-up connection. Users can install the Telenor Internet in a few minutes, after selecting one of tariff packages within the Telenor Internet offer and a desktop or laptop modem.
