Telenor START: summer internship for young adults
Telenor invites young adults to submit applications for its Start summer internship by May 29. The internship is a month-long program designed for final-year students studying for a Bachelor's or Master's degree at any university in Serbia, as well as for graduates with no previous work experience.
Twelve young people will have the opportunity to employ the theoretical knowledge acquired at university as practical competence during the summer, working on projects within different company divisions. In addition, the interns will – through carefully selected trainings and mentorship – develop skills that are especially important in the business world, while four of them will get the chance to continue their professional development after the summer at Telenor under a year-long senior internship program.
The Telenor Start summer internship is conceived as a form of active support to young talents who are looking for work or wish to start their own business. It provides them with what they need most – initial work experience, familiarizing with the corporate culture of a multinational company and developing skills such as project management, presentation skills, team work, applying for jobs, and much more.
“Young people represent the future in any country, and they are the true representatives of the new digital generation. This is why we in Telenor always search for new ways to invest in their education. And this is why we engage with them, to learn about how they see the future of our industry and the digital society. We believe this is of great mutual value, both for the youngsters and for us” says Ove Fredheim, CEO of Telenor Serbia.
Candidates can apply by sending their resume, cover letter, and a short video on the theme of The World Goes Digital to email@example.com, and more details are available at http://www.telenor.rs/sr/O-Telenoru/Telenor-u-Srbiji/Karijera-u-Telenoru/Praksa-u-Telenoru.
