Telenor Opens the First Internet Park in Serbia
Studentski Park is Telenor’s first Internet park
June 11, 2008 – Thanks to Telenor, Studentski Park in Belgrade has become today the first park in Serbia with free Internet access. Laptops can be connected to the Internet in two ways, wireless or using a USB modem, available at several locations in the park.
In the next three months, the park visitors can test all advantages of this type of the Internet access and enjoy open space at the same time. The connection procedure is very simple and easy, and includes several basic steps, explained on boards installed in the park.
As of today, you can start using the Telenor Internet service through 3G/HSDPA in Belgrade, Niš and Novi Sad, as well as in other towns of Serbia soon.
The concept of the Internet parks has been present in many large cities of the world for some time, and from now on citizens of Serbia will be provided with an opportunity to surf and download contents from the Web when sitting on the grass in parks across Serbia.
