Telenor Opened Internet Park In Kragujevac - Free Telenor Internet in Grand Park in Kragujevac
June 19, 2009 – After the park near Vuk’s Monument in Belgrade and Danube Park in Novi Sad, Grand Park in Kragujevac is the third park in our country which has got free Telenor Internet this year. Surrounded by the greenery, Kragujevac citizens will have an opportunity to surf the Web for free in the coming months.
By implementing the Internet Parks project, Telenor in Serbia contributes to our country’s fast inclusion in the family of developed countries, since the Internet availability and IT literacy have best reflected a development rate of a society for years. Telenor has prepared design solutions for all individual Internet parks, installed the equipment and will take care of its maintenance.
“The Telenor Internet in Parks project enables Kragujevac citizens to feel as in any other large city of the world and obtain real-time information on developments in the country and the world, while visitors can learn everything about the city they are visiting in the fastest possible manner,” said upon the opening Goran Stupar, Media Coordinator in Telenor.
The Internet Parks concept has been present in many cities across the world for years, and owing to Telenor Internet, citizens of Serbia can be closer to the world and to each other for the second consecutive year.
Last June, Serbia got its first Internet Park ever. Telenor’s 3G signal provides fast Internet, which reaches nearly 45% of the population in Serbia in more than 200 cities and towns today.
