Telenor Internet Park In Student Campus - Free Internet for 4,500 students from all over Serbia
July 09, 2009 – Residents of the largest student campus at the Balkans – the Student Campus in Belgrade – have got the Internet Park with free-of-charge Telenor Internet to use in the next two years.
The Park has been opened within the joint project of Telenor and the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia. At benches or on grass, in a tree shade, all the campus residents now have important and useful information, Facebook, MySpace, or Twitter at their disposal.
“We are very happy to see many students who stay in the campus after the exam period is over. In cooperation with Telenor, we have added another quality element which is important for them, since they spend most of the year here. They have welcomed the opportunity to work and study surrounded by nature. The fast Internet has already been tested by participants in the Universiade, who have been informed on all ongoing developments within seconds,” said Dragana Vujačić, Assistant Accommodation Director at the Student Centre Belgrade.
The Student Campus, accommodating nearly 5,000 students, was established 55 years ago, and since 1974 it includes the Student Campus Cultural Centre, a centre of sports and cultural events for students.
