Telenor Celebrates First Year in Serbia

The first anniversary of operations marked by official opening of Operational Center and Expo area 
October 11, 2007 – Telenor in Serbia formally opened its business headquarters in Novi Beograd and presented its network and services operational center, and Expo area.
Jon Fredrik Baksaas, Telenor Group CEO, and Jan Edvard Thygesen, Telenor Executive Vice President and Head of Eastern and Central Europe, opened these two centers, both devoted to promoting the quality of services and communication with users and the public.

Telenor Operational Centre, the only of its kind in the country, will control the functioning of all network and service elements, combining the knowledge of IT experts and GSM/3G  network experts, thus allowing constant monitoring and control of the network and services from one centre, quick response and efficient problem-resolution procedures.

Expo Centre, located on the ground floor of the Telenor building on an area of more than 1,000 square meters, its modern design and state-of-the-art equipment offer a comfortable working environment for employees and business associates alike. It is the place for business meetings, presentations of projects, promotions and press conferences, seminars, educational workshops and other contents.
