“Telenor’s Month of Surprises” Continues with “Summer Roaming” Campaign
June 14, 2007 – Continuing its Month of Surprises, initiated last week with the introduction of three new prepaid tariff plans, Telenor is switching to roaming summer time. New summer rates will be effective during the busiest holiday season, from July 1 until August 31.
After ten months of operations in Serbia and careful monitoring of its subscribers’ needs, Telenor is the country’s first mobile operator to respond with the most favourable and simplest roaming service ever.
Telenor’s subscribers who travel to six key tourist destinations – Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Tunisia, Spain and Egypt – will talk at a price lower by 33.33% than before.
Additional benefits and cost savings await those traveling to Montenegro this summer. Telenor’s prepaid and postpaid subscribers who spend their holidays in Montenegro and use ProMonte network will be able to talk “as if at home”. Outgoing calls to Serbia and Montenegro will be charged the price of a national call, RSD 7 per minute for postpaid, and RSD 8.5 per minute for prepaid subscribers. All incoming calls are free of charge. Furthermore, call to Telenor’s call center will be charged the price of a local call.
An additional advantage for prepaid subscribers is that they can top up by using ProMonte vouchers of EUR 5, 10 or 25, available at around 2,400 points of sale across Montenegro. Voucher amount is converted into Serbian dinars upon adding.
With this service, Telenor wishes to respond to its subscribers’ needs for simple and innovative services, and stay in line with its values: keep promises, be respectful, make it simple and be inspiring. Details
