“We are proud to offer Nokia Lumia devices to the mobile users in Serbia. Thanks to our Smart Network we provide them the opportunity to use these devices to their fullest capacity for work or entertainment. With that new offer we continue to give our customers the widest and most relevant choice in the Serbian market of cutting-edge devices and platforms,” says Oliver von Gagern, Chief Marketing Officer in Telenor.

One of the key advantages of the Nokia Lumia models is the Windows Phone 8 OS. It provides uncompromised access to Windows Store applications and the perfect integration towards the Cloud platform. Windows Phone 8 offers users higher mobility and easier choice of time, place and method of performing desired tasks. Its distinguishing feature is the fact that it functions equally well with mouse, keyboard and touch screen devices.

„Based on the same technology as the new Windows 8, this phone has the most advanced operating system we have ever designed. We firmly believe that after launching the partnership with Nokia, we have the product which will set new standards on the smartphone market,“ said Jugoslav Pirić, GM of Microsoft Serbia.

Kaloyan Kanov, Nokia Product Marketing Manager for the Balkans, expressed satisfaction about Lumia series’ debut in Telenor’s network: “We welcome Telenor Serbia’s decision to offer the Nokia Lumia 920 and the Nokia Lumia 820 in Serbia so consumers can start experiencing the phones for themselves. With unrivalled innovations in imaging technology, wireless charging and a bright, sensitive display, we think the Nokia Lumia 920 is going to turn a lot of heads. We are also very proud of our most versatile Lumia device, the Nokia Lumia 820, which includes a Carl Zeiss lens, a 4.3” ClearBlack display and range of new colourful and wireless charging shells”.

The Lumia 920 features the unique PureView 8.7MP camera. For the first time, a mobile phone has an option of optical image stabilisation for high-quality photos and videos, even in unfavourable conditions, such as insufficient light. With the Smart Shoot option, every user can take five photos at once, then select the best one and create an animation or panoramic photos. The Nokia Lumia 820 comes with an 8MP camera and a 4.3’’ screen, while the Lumia 920 phone has a 4.5’’ hypersensitive screen, enabling fast and easy handling even in gloves, thanks to the PureMotion HD+ technology. The ClearBlack technology provides users with seamless work and impeccable visibility, even under strong daylight.

Telenor Smart Network enables users to easily operate these latest smartphones at the speed of up to 42Mb/s. In addition, as Smart Network covers more than 72% of the population, it provides users with the opportunity to surf the Web while on the move.
