New Telenor Internet Parks in Kraljevo and Kragujevac
Lighting system installed in the Internet Park in Belgrade
July 15, 2008 – After Belgrade, Niš, and Novi Sad, citizens of Kragujevac, owing to Telenor, will obtain their Internet Park tomorrow, and the population of Kraljevo will be provided with free Internet access the day after.
Citizens of these cities can check their e-mail and search the most diverse Web contents without restriction in the parks until the end of September.
As a result of cooperation between public park maintenance company Gradsko zelenilo and Telenor, a new lighting system has been installed at the Students Park in Belgrade, the first Internet Park in our country, enabling visitors to use wireless Telenor Internet at night as well.
“Parks in Kragujevac and Kraljevo have been opened owing to proactive citizens who demanded this service. It is evident that the experience from the previous three cities has been positive and that good news spreads fast. We are more than glad that we have been in a position to satisfy their demand and present fast Telenor Internet to numerous users in smaller cities as well,” say Telenor representatives.
Telenor Internet uses the 3G/HSDPA network, and laptops can be connected to the Internet in two ways, wireless or using a USB modem, available at several locations in the park. The connection procedure is very simple and easy, and includes several basic steps, explained on boards installed in the park.
