By simply applying to the address samitmladih@telenor.rs or over the site www.telenor.com/innovation/youthsummit/ all young people between 18 and 25 years of age can apply for the competition for Telenor Youth Summit in Oslo.

Due to a great interest, the competition has been extended and will remain open till October 31. Two best who come up with a video that reflects an idea how to contribute to social changes and how the use of digital communications can make our future better, will participate in the Youth Summit from December 9 to 11.

To apply, they need to send their brief CV, a short video succinctly explaining their vision or idea (the recording can be also made with mobile phone camera) and describe it in a short 250-word text.  All the details are at Telenor web page http://www.telenor.rs/sr/O-Telenoru/Telenor-u-Srbiji/Telenor-Samit-mladih-2014

Some 28 participants from all European and Asian countries of Telenor operations will gather in Oslo, and the young will have the opportunity to develop their ideas in many workshops, meet leaders and global experts from Telenor Group and Nobel Peace Centre, as well as to be present at the festivities organised on the occasion of the awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize.

This is a second Youth Summit in a row, and last year chosen were Petar Korda (Faculty of Electrical Engineering) who presented the video “Recycling” and how the citizens can be encouraged to recycle, and Bojana Stajić (Faculty of Architecture in Niš), who showed in Oslo her presentation of the Watch Tower (Sahat kula), that once was on the Niš Fortress, in virtual reality.
