“Prof. Dr Ilija Stojanovic” awards presented to best students
“Prof. Dr Ilija Stojanović” awards were presented to exceptional graduates of the Telecommunications Departments, authors of the best expert papers of the TELFOR 2016 Conference, as well as authors of the best expert paper published in an international magazine.
Traditionally, Telenor Foundation has been presenting this award for ten years in a row, and during one decade of cooperation, 25 students and 64 authors of scientific papers were awarded.

“This year is very important for us. We are celebrating two jubilees – ten years of our company’s operations in Serbia and ten years of presenting this important award. Professor Ilija Stojanović was the father of modern telecommunications in the space of the former SFRY and today’s Serbia and, consequently, deserves credit for the development of Telenor. We wish to invest in education and development of young engineers and motivate them to continue to improve in the telecommunications field”, said Nevena Stefanović, CHRO in Telenor Serbia.
As
part of the official academy on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of
the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, Nevena Stefanović, CHRO of Telenor,
presented the awards on behalf of Telenor Foundation.
The best graduate students for 2015/16
school year are Bojana Ćurčić - Faculty
of Electrical Engineering in Belgrade, Isidora Šašić - Faculty of Technical Sciences
in Novi
Sad and Jovana Stojković -
Faculty of Electronics in Niš.
Authors of the awarded expert
papers of TELFOR 2016 Conference are Ana Z. Bogdanović, Andrija Z. Gajić, Nada Janković and Miloš Đ. Ćapin, whereas Nebojša Vojnović, Branka
Jokanović, Miloš Radovanović, Medina Francisco and Mesa Francisco are winners
of the award for the best expert paper published in an international magazine (Modelling
of Non-resonant Longitudinal and Inclined Slots for Resonance Tuning in ENZ
Waveguide Structures).
