Digitalization for peace: journey from Oslo over Bangkok to Nobel Peace Centre
May 12, 2016 - Telenor is inviting the young people to apply for the competition for participation in Telenor Youth Forum, in cooperation of Telenor Group and Nobel Peace Center, to be held under the slogan “Digitalization for Peace”.
Students and graduates from 20 to 28 years of age who believe that digital solutions can contribute to tackling social challenges can apply for participation over the site https://www.telenor.com/youthforum/, by June 15, at the latest. After short listed candidates are selected, Telenor jury will decide on the final selection of delegates from Serbia.
Two delegates will participate in the Youth Forum, which will rally young social leaders from all Telenor Group’s 13 markets. The Forum will start with a kick-off event in Oslo, during the week of Nobel Peace Prize festivities in December and the delegates will rally again in Bangkok in 2017. During the year, the young will work in virtual teams on solutions that they believe can respond to some social issue and will cooperate with Nobel Peace Centre on preparing a digital exhibition, which will be opened in autumn 2017.
Telenor Youth Forum is organised the fourth year in a row. Telenor Youth Forum is one-year program aimed at initiating a dialogue and engagement in tackling the social challenges, with the contribution of digital technologies.

They will spend their first days together, developing a plan for creating dialogue, engagement and potentially a solution, using digital technology, for how that challenge can be addressed.
