Chief Executive Officer
Mike Michel has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Telenor Serbia, effective as of October 8, 2018. Before joining Telenor Serbia, Michel was Chief Marketing Officer of mobile operator Banglalink, Bangladesh. In his previous roles, he also served as Chief Marketing Officer in Telenor Hungary and Vice President for Brand in Telenor Group, Norway.
Michel has over 20 years of leadership experience in global telecommunication companies in CEE region, North America and Asia. He has worked in various senior leadership roles in Czech Republic, Serbia, Montenegro, and Hungary. He spent five years in Telenor Montenegro and Serbia, leading commercial business and teams.
Michel holds BA in Economics from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, Canada.
Chief Marketing Officer
Saša joined Telenor Serbia Management team on January 1st, 2018. Previously, Saša held position of Chief Commercial Officer in Telenor Bulgaria as of 2013, where he also served as interim Chief Executive Officer during 2017.
Before joining Bulgarian team, Saša served as Chief Strategy Officer in Telenor Serbia. He gained vast experience while holding various leading positions in commercial area.
Saša holds BA in Management from Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, Serbia. He is married and father of two.
Chief Financial Officer
Vanja is coming from the Controlling and Risk Management Director position.
She had started her career in Telenor 10 years ago and, during that time, assumed several leading positions. Before that, she worked in finance department of Philip Morris.
She graduated from the Economic Faculty of Belgrade University, and holds ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) and EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) degree.
Chief Technology Officer
Leković joined Telenor Serbia Management team on October 1st, 2018. Leković is coming to Telenor Serbia from Kazakhstan, where he was working as CTIO in KCELL, member of Telia Group and the leading mobile operator in the country, serving 10 million customers. Prior to that, Leković has been working in Telekom Serbia Group (operations in Serbia, Montenegro, BiH) as Board Advisor for 3 years (2012-2015), responsible for development of technology and services, new technologies and network transformation.
Within Telekom Serbia Group, Leković served as Chief Technology Officer and Board member (2008-2012), and Chief Strategy and Transformation officer (2007-2008). During that period, he was also leading Telekom Serbia EU daughter Company, registered in Amsterdam, which was the owner of international IP MPLS network connecting 12 main European centres for Internet sharing, and executing international VPN services as a part of international wholesale business. Leković also spent 4 years in Telekom in Montenegro (2001-2005), as Chief Information and Transformation Officer.
Leković holds Master of Science in electrical engineering from Faculty of Electronic engineering, University of Belgrade. He speaks English and Russian language.
Chief Strategy and Transformation Executive Officer
Nemanja joined the company in 2003 and held numerous positions within the Marketing Division.
He is a marketing professional with wide experience in field of telecommunications, who held the position of Consumer Marketing Director from 2013-2016 and progressed through a series of roles in Telenor Montenegro and Telenor Serbia.
Nemanja holds a degree of the Academy of Arts, Belgrade: Producer in Arts and Media (Equivalent to MA).
Chief Corporate Affairs Officer
Đorđe joined Telenor Serbia Management team in May 2019. He came to Telenor from the position of Partner in international law firm CMS Reich-Rohrwig Hainz.
During his career, Đorđe advised international clients in relation to the major telecommunications companies` acquisition, setup and project development of licensed broadcasting entities, regulatory and contractual issues associated with wholesale broadband transactions, as well as online advertising and brand marketing. He has extensive legal advisory experience in Technology, Media and Communications, along with his practice in the areas of Energy and Infrastructure.
Popović graduated from Faculty of Law, University of Belgrade. He holds postgraduate degree in Securities Law from University of Belgrade and Master of European Studies from Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn (Germany). In parallel to his business practice, he is regularly publishing and researching in diverse legal areas and is a guest lecturer at University of Belgrade.
Chief Human Resources Officer
Nevena has more than 14 years of experience in telecommunications.
She has joined the company in 2002, and has held numerous positions in technology, marketing, strategy, and communications divisons. Nevena is leading Human Resources from May 2015.
Nevena holds BSc in Telecommunications (MSc according to Bologna Process), University of Belgrade (2002), and MBA in Marketing (2008), Sheffield University.
