Postpaid Roaming
Roaming is a service that enables the use of Telenor SIM card and a GSM handset in the networks of foreign GSM operators. Caller never has to know where you are - just dial 063 and your mobile phone number.
Roaming is one of the most attractive services Telenor offers its customers. In recent years Telenor established cooperation with more than
360 foreign GSM operators, in more than
160 countreis worldwide.
Telenor also offers the possibility of using roaming service in countries where cooperation with operators has not been established, but are covered with satellite signal of Thuraya network. Currently there are 40 countries mostly on the African and Asian part of continent.
As of 1st december 2007. Telenor has improved it’s roaming zones, and made them even more simple. Now countries are divided into
four geographic zones. Within zones are determined official prices and charging of incoming and outgoing calls, SMS, MMS and data traffic, which are same regardless of the country and roaming operator which customer uses in one roaming zone.
Prices of calls, SMS and data traffic given on pages within Roaming partners section are fixed and official. They are considered to be official pricelist of Telenor 4 roaming zones.
The price of outgoing calls within a given roaming zone is the same regardless of the country, the network and the destination of the call. Charging of outgoing calls is per minute. Same conditions apply to outgoing video calls.
The price of incoming calls within a given roaming zone is the same regardless of the country, the network and the origin of the call. Incoming calls are charged per second. Same conditions apply to incoming video calls.
The price of sending an SMS within a given roaming zone is the same regardless of the country, the network and SMS destination. Incoming SMS are free of charge.
GPRS prices are same in all countries and networks within one roaming zone. Data traffic is charged per 100 KB . Before you go abroad, check here if Telenor has signed
