First connection to the Network

In order to be able to use your mobile phone in the Telenor network, first insert the SIM card into the corresponding slot in the phone. Turn on your phone by pressing the appropriate key (usually marked in red and located on the keyboard, or the edges) and the phone will switch to network search mode. Once registered, the display will read with a Telenor sign (Telenor, YU Telenor or 220 01). Your device is now ready for use.

Making and receiving calls

To start a conversation, enter the desired phone number in the appropriate format and click the confirmation button, which depending on your phone model can be labelled with an OK or YES, usually green in colour of font, with a headset logo, hyphen, target-like symbol or other similar symbol. The same keys are used to accept incoming calls.

As regards the number format you want to call, several universal rules apply. When you want to dial a number belonging to the Telenor network, simply type the prefix and phone number (e.g. 06x123456). If you want to get in touch with a subscriber of another mobile network in the Republic of Serbia, type the network code and telephone number (e.g. 06x123456). When calling a landline in the Republic of Serbia, first enter the area code and then the telephone number (e.g. 011 123 123).
