Environmental Management System

As of 2010, aiming at reducing the environmental impacts, all companies within Telenor Group are applying ISO 14001 standard or Environmental Management System. This system resulted from the increased market need to preserve natural habitat in which the companies operate. With the adoption of the Environmental Policy and introduction of this system, the environmental protection has become a part of daily operations of Telenor d.o.o. Although we are not legally bound to apply ISO standard 14001, it is our wish to draw attention to this important issue with our example and work, which if neglected can have negative consequences on human life and health.

Telenor has taken a step further in the preservation of human environment and certified its Environmental Protection Management System in late 2011.
