Note: Approval of humanitarian SMS numbers
Telenor d.o.o. approves a limited number of humanitarian numbers, according to criteria that are strictly defined in line with Company’s strategy. Therefore humanitarian numbers are approved primarily in an effort to support the systemic resolution of issues at the national level, as well as to help provide emergency assistance in the wake of natural disasters that threaten large populations.
The petitioner for the humanitarian number (signatory of the contract with Telenor) must be a legal entity. The objective of launching the humanitarian action must not be fundraising for individual cases.
Telenor d.o.o. is required to transfer to the organizer of the humanitarian action solely funds collected from its users. We note that Telenor d.o.o. provides the humanitarian SMS number service on behalf of and benefiting the organizer of the campaign, which is required to be informed on the topic of and to honor all potential taxes.
The organizer of the humanitarian action shall provide the appropriate media promotion of the action, shall publish information about the sum of the funds raised through the humanitarian SMS number, and shall submit to Telenor a report on the spending of the collected funds, which must be used exclusively for the purpose that was the subject of the action.
The humanitarian action number shall be approved only under the above-mentioned conditions.
