"Unseen beauty" of the National Theatre

November 2011 - On November 21, 2011, Telenor Foundation, together with its strategic partner, the National Theatre, presented the first photo monograph of the National Theatre entitled “Unseen beauty”, with the aim of presenting the life and work of the theatre and show respect for cultural and artistic values and people that create, develop and preserve them as the most precious treasure.
A 140-page magnificent book of the author Dina Johnsen includes photos of the great figures of the National Theatre: Konstantin Kostjukov, Ašhen Ataljanc, Predrag Ejdus, Ljiljana Blagojević, Nataša Ninković and many other actors, ballet dancers, opera signers and all those who behind the curtains leave impression on the work of the theatre. Apart from people, it evokes the space of the National Theatre, its stage in front and behind the stage scenery.
Dina Johnsen, a photographer and associate member of the Board of Directors of Telenor Foundation, together with her team, bestowed this monograph on the Theatre, wanting to contribute to the promotion and enrichment of the cultural creative endeavour and advancement of the art on the Serbian stage.
Partnership of the National Theatre and Telenor Foundation was established after the model of the long-term cooperation between Telenor and Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow and National Theatre in Oslo.
